1. The staging server is not currently available. We are working to make this available as soon as possible.
2. Following the VLE upgrade you may find that you can no longer connect to Questionmark via the Authoring Manager. If this affects you it means you need to update your software. Download the correct version here and follow the instructions to install: http://www.leeds.ac.uk/perception/v4_install.html (if you do not have administration rights on your computer you will need to ask a Faculty IT contact/ISS Helpdesk to do this for you). .
3. The method of scheduling an assessment has changed. Previously when scheduling an assessment in the VLE you would navigate through an identical folder structure to that of the live Questionmark server. Questionmark have introduced a change which means you will no longer see a folder structure, instead every assessment on the live server (this includes yours and other users) is listed in name order from the dropdown list in the VLE.
This could be particularly problematic if you or somebody else at the University has one or more assessments with the same name. If you are unable to easily locate the assessment you want, a workaround is to rename the assessment in authoring manager adding your ISS username at the beginning e.g. libxxxMyAssessment.
The VLE Service are working on a custom fix for Leeds to restore the folder view in the VLE, meaning you will again see the folder structure and only have access to schedule the assessments you have authoring rights to. We hope to have this available before the start of the new academic year.
