Time for an update on the current VLE problems we’ve all been experiencing:
It’s now clear that the power outage on Friday was not directly responsible for the VLE problems this week, however it did throw the cause of our issue into sharp relief when the system tried to recover from the outage. We’ll give you the detail later.
Remedial work overnight has been completed and work is ongoing to get the VLE systems back to capacity. We are now reconfiguring servers and running rolling restarts. We are not there yet and ISS and the VLE Service are working closely with the supplier.
