We have had several reports of staff and students being unable to access external links that are set to open in the same window of the VLE.
This occurs when a security message is displayed and you choose to only display content that has been delivered securely. The message is displayed as Internet Explorer recognises the content as being outside of the VLE.
To resolve this you need to delete your browser history and then when you next see the message, allow content which hasn’t been delivered securely. Read the guide to see how:
