What features can we expect to see?

Students

Favourites – Quickly access modules and organisations by adding them to your favourites list – especially useful if you have been here many years.

Announcements – View your module and organisation announcements on-the-go.

View Content – View module documents and access audio & video (some content may only be accessible by web browser).

Complete Tasks – Update your progress on tasks assigned by your tutor.

Mobile Tests – Take mobile compatible tests.

View Grades – View grades for work you have completed in the VLE.

Discussions – Communicate using discussion boards and upload files from your device.

Dropbox Integration – Save content and upload files to discussions & tests to/from your Dropbox account.

 

Staff

Announcements – Communicate with students using announcements.

Add Content – Add documents, images and multimedia files stored on your smart phone, tablet device or Dropbox account.

Discussions – Participate in discussions with your students.

Other Features

We are investigating the blackboard blog and journal tool (not currently used at Leeds) which might offer access to these tools through Mobile Learn – you can see how this might work in the demonstrations below.
