The VLE has been stable since 18:40 on Thursday evening last week (8th November). We continue to work with the vendor to diagnose the cause of the instability experienced after last Wednesday’s hardware upgrade.
It is now clear we have experienced a bug in the underlying operating system software. A workaround is in place and we are in receipt of a fix from the vendor. It is now essential that we move to implement this fix to ensure the ongoing stability of the VLE. We will look to schedule further downtime and will keep all of you fully informed via this blog.
