Turnitin Submission Issues – 29/04

Issues with Turnitin, which prevented users from accessing the service between 04:45 and 07:48 on Monday 29th April, have now been resolved.

Training: Introduction to Marking with Turnitin

The Learning Technologies Team are working with OD&PL to provide some hands on training for online marking, using Feedback Studio by Turnitin.

This training is open to academic staff and PGRs who teach and want to know more about how to use the system. The session will include a walkthrough demonstration, a chance to use the marking tools, discussion and Q&A.

Minerva Upload Issues

Over the weekend, some of the Minerva servers stopped allowing documents to be uploaded. This included standard file uploads for staff and Blackboard assignment uploads for students.

Staff and students may have successfully uploaded files later in the weekend if they managed to get onto a server that had sufficient space.

This issue has now been resolved and all Minerva servers have enough space for uploads. Please try again to upload your files/assignments.

Resolved – Turnitin Issues

Issues with Turnitin, which prevented users from accessing the service between 14:52 on Friday 15th February – 07:06 GMT on Saturday 16th February, have now been resolved.

Turnitin Submission Issues

Between 10:00 and 14:00 today, some students may have had issues submitting to Turnitin. This issue only affected students that had not previously submitted to Turnitin at the University of Leeds, as they did not have an account on the Turnitin system.

This issue has now been resolved and all students can submit as normal.

Resolved – Turnitin Unavailable

Issues with Turnitin, which prevented users from accessing the service between 10:48 – 13:33 BST on Thursday 25th October, have now been resolved. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Turnitin Unavailable

Turnitin is experiencing a service outage, and is unavailable.

This affects students when attempting to submit and staff when they attempt to view files through Turnitin.

This issue is affecting all Turnitin institutions and their engineers are looking into the issues as a priority.
