Minerva Issue – Resolved

Minerva experienced a database performance issue earlier today which prevented all users from accessing the system.

This issue is now resolved.

The issue affected all users, from approximately 1400 until 1630.

Minerva is currently unavailable. The issue is currently under investigation by engineers.

Minerva downtime due to essential maintenance – 15th May

Minerva will be unavailable on Wednesday 15th May from 7:30am for essential maintenance. This work should last no longer than two hours and we will look to minimise the time the service is unavailable.

During maintenance, an alternative page will be displayed with direct links to key University systems, such as email, but there will be no access to VLE resources during this time.

Minerva – connection issues this morning.

The University experienced network connectivity issues this morning.

External services were not available from on campus (such as Turnitin), and Minerva was not available from off-campus.

The issue occurred between approximately 08:03am and 08:24 this morning.
