Problem with bulk downloading/deleting Turnitin assignments in Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer users cannot currently bulk download or delete Turnitin assignments. This is a known issue which Turnitin are aware of. Once this is resolved we will update this blog. In the meantime, a workaround is to use the Firefox browser (see http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/.)

Firefox assignment uploads fixed

We have applied a patch to the VLE which fixes a problem affecting users of Firefox 3 (currently a Blackboard 7.3 uncertified web browser).

When a student used the assignments upload form with Windows and Firefox 3.x, they received a “Please enter a valid file” error, and were unable to complete their upload.

This has now been fixed.
