The Learning Technologies Team are working with OD&PL to provide some hands on training for online marking, using Feedback Studio by Turnitin.
This training is open to academic staff and PGRs who teach and want to know more about how to use the system. The session will include a walkthrough demonstration, a chance to use the marking tools, discussion and Q&A.

Users may have experienced slowness while making submissions or viewing them, from 13:57 – 15:05 (05/03/2018). This has now been resolved.

This affects students when attempting to submit and staff when they attempt to view files through Turnitin.
This issue is affecting all Turnitin institutions and their engineers are looking into the issues as a priority.
Turnitin GradeMark, the predecessor to Turnitin Feedback Studio, has now been removed by Turnitin.
Feedback Studio will now be the only Turnitin marking interface available when you access assignments, you will no longer be able to access the ‘Classic’ interface.
Any users who were still using Turnitin GradeMark will automatically be switched to Turnitin Feedback Studio. Feedback Studio provides the same features as GradeMark and should be familiar to staff. All pre-existing marks, rubrics and QuickMarks will continue to work as per GradeMark.
Blackboard have this week released a special Grader app for staff which you will see advertised in the iOS App store:
This app is intended only for VLE Instructors.
It is not supported at Leeds yet and will not successfully connect to the VLE.
The new app does not replace the existing Blackboard Mobile app.
The issue reported on 19 March is now resolved.
We have been made aware of an issue affecting Turnitin anonymous assignments where grades added in GradeMark are disappearing once the post date of the assignment has passed. Turnitin have informed us that this is a system wide issue which they are working on a resolution to.
In the meantime any individual instances where the issue has occurred can be resolved on a case by case basis by Turnitin. If you experience this issue please contact the ISS Helpdesk (email@example.com) providing the module code and assignment name.
