Reminder: Minerva Summer 2018 Upgrade

We are planning to upgrade Minerva this summer during the agreed maintenance period:

Tuesday 10th July until late Wednesday 11th July*

*Additionally, Thursday 12th July may be used for upgrade contingencies if necessary.

While Minerva is being upgraded it will not be available, hence no content will be accessible.

Staff: Do not schedule formative or summative assessment or electronic assignment hand-ins through Minerva for the above dates (including the contingency day).

Students: Plan for Minerva downtime by retrieving material you know you will need.

Minerva Portal and VLE – Downtime

Minerva will be unavailable on Wednesday 24th January from 07:30 – 08:30 for essential maintenance work.

The Minerva Downtime page will provide links to other key University systems, but there will be no access to VLE resources during this time. Please plan ahead by retrieving material you know you will need.

Turnitin – scheduled maintenance Saturday March 7

Turnitin have informed us that the service may be intermittently unavailable during a maintenance period on Saturday, March 7th 3pm-7pm.

They encourage staff to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window.

VLE downtime 3/12/2011, 10:00-16:00

The VLE will be unavailable on Saturday the 3rd of December between 10:00 and 16:00. This is to allow essential maintenance work, which is related to the campus power outage on the 30th of September. This work has been postponed until the above date due to the VLE performance issues at the start of term.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
