FIXED: Minerva Data Issues

Following the issues at the end of last week, the data in Minerva is now accurate as of Tuesday evening. All module, organisation, user and enrolment data was successfully taken from Banner last night.

As reported on Friday, all the student enrolments for 17/18 that were incorrectly disabled, were reinstated and all user enrolments should now be correct.

We will continue to take nightly feeds as usual from this evening.

UPDATE: Minerva Data Issues

FIXED: All student enrolments for 17/18 have been now been reinstated and students will be able to access 17/18 modules as usual.

OUTSTANDING: We are still without a regular Banner feed so data will remain as it was on Tuesday evening. No new staff or student enrolments will come through over the weekend and we are working to resolve this at the start of next week.

Minerva Data Issues

We are currently experiencing an issue with our data feeds which means that enrolments on modules and organisations will not be up-to-date.

All student enrolments for 17/18 have been disabled, meaning that access to these modules will not be possible. Enrolments to all previous years are unaffected.

The last successful feed was on Tuesday evening, so any staff or student enrolments that should have been added since then will not have come through.

We are working hard to resolve these issues and get accurate data into Minerva as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Minerva Available

Access to Minerva has now been reinstated on campus. Users will no longer get the ‘Secure Connection Failed’ message and the login page will now load.

Some off campus users may be able to access Minerva, but others may continue to have issues. This will resolve itself once the changes made are recognised by all Internet Service Providers.

It is possible that users could get stuck in a loop if they have tried to login during the outage. In this case, please clear your browser cache, save any work and close all your browser windows before trying again. The loop will display this message:

UPDATE: Minerva Issues

We continue to experience an issue which is stopping the Minerva login page showing to users.

Users will be getting the message ‘Secure Connection Failed’. IT are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible and reinstate access to the page.

We will update you here as soon as we have a fix.
