Important: beware of phishing emails
There is a worldwide phishing scam targeting Universities with Blackboard VLE. Leeds users have received these emails.
Be advised that the University/Blackboard will not send emails asking for your username and password.
The VLE’s URL begins https://vlebb.leeds.ac.uk/ and the log in screen looks like this:
Users may also access the VLE via the Portal at http://portal.leeds.ac.uk/ (which redirects to https://leedsportal.leeds.ac.uk):
Here is an example of a phishing email recently received by a Leeds user (sent from eresources@blackboard.com):
